I do not like novellas at all.
This isn't a short story. It is the beginning chapter for a book. My imagination is already developing several directions you can go with this.
Get busy and finish the story for your readers.
Great short story
Well spoken good read far from my original thought but can go into-more effort of achieving initial goal good read
Great SHORT story, really short. Liked the story. Didn't like the man.
Fun little story, relatable, good dialogue, interesting characters. However, given the large amount of back-story of the main character and how little the author told of the homeless veteran who probably had quite a back-story himself, the "perspective" gained seemed incomplete. I would have loved to see "the rest of the story", as the ending is a bit too abrupt for my taste. Nevertheless, well-written otherwise.
Enjoyable Read! Great, relatable short story with a dash of humor. This brief read keeps your attention from beginning to end. Happy Reading!
